The Literary Festival in Bavaria’s state capital unites three literary events in one: the Munich Bücherschau book exhibition at Gasteig, the forum:autoren writers’ forum and the festival programme at the Literaturhaus. Training events for book industry professionals will be on offer alongside numerous other events, exhibitions, workshops, panel discussions and author readings. The Geschwister-Scholl-Preis is also presented during the festival, an award that stands for ‘intellectual independence, civil liberty and moral and intellectual courage’.
